Fun wedding Photo Ideas

Photography is an integral part of any marriage and the bride and groom literally will be languishing to see how they have come out in the photos and to relive their special and momentous day.





One fun idea is to click a photo of everyone who arrives as is done in a high school prom or company Christmas party. With an arranged back ground couples can pose either for a paid photographer or anyone with a Camera. Polaroid camera can also be used for immediate fun. Digital camera can be used for higher quality pictures.

Until the arrival of the bride and groom this can be the excellent way to engage the guests and keep them happy until the official reception begins.

Instant photos can be taken and scrap book pages or memory book pages created with the photos. As supplies are on hand guests can create pages on site or pages can be pre made and photos simply placed into the prepared spaces. If guests don’t create pages on site or the bride is unwilling for this activity, the photos can be saved for later. Some one, later, can create memory books with these photos as a gift for the bride and groom.

Photos taken Polaroid camera can be signed by those in the photo and the photos are placed in a basket some where. It is for the enjoyment of the bride and groom later.

Though not a special idea, many bride supply disposable cameras on each table at the reception for guests to click candid shots of the reception and the table guests. These snaps can be included in the wedding album or make a separate album exhibit the wedding from the guests’ angle and perspective.

Another fun activity, that entertains to create a “silent photo guess”. Where photos of the bride and groom at various stages of life are collected by a person close to the bride and groom. Both the bride and groom should be at work. It should not disclose the work or where the person is.

People will gather, look at the record and make a silent guess of what the photo shows. They can record the guess on a piece of paper and deposit it in a numbered basket corresponding to the number of the photo. It will be really amusing to read the guesses in the reception. Real answers are provided by the bride and groom. This activity is good for a small family wedding where the bride and groom are known very well.

A photo corner can be set up some where in the reception hall where all wedding guests are photographed. Couples, entire families, friends, and groom being carried on the arms of the best man, - all there and many more provide much fun and a surprise for the bride and groom. They will be very happy and delighted to know that the wedding guests had a pretty good time and appreciate what ever arrangements have made to please them.
