Options galore available for hosting a bridal shower, all full of fear though a few or silly and others quite serious. The intention is to have some fun with the bride before she is married.





One such game is to put the bride in a tight corner by some one asking her for details regarding her spouse to belike where he was born, his favorite food etc. If at the bridal shower she answers half the questions right she really deserves the prize.

In the all time favorite game toilet paper wedding dresses, the guests are divided into teams of two people each but not more than five. One or two rolls of toilet paper are given and they are asked to make a wedding dress out of it. One of the team members will be the model. They are provided with jewelry and shoes for “dress up trunk”. The toilet paper dress can be accessorized with the jewelry, shoes, gloves and hats. The dress should be finished in five minutes. The bride shall select the best dress and award the prize for the team that owns it.

Another funny program is to make the bride dressed when she is blind folded. She is told that she is on a honeymoon and has to prepare the wedding night in complete darkness, because of power failure. A suit case full of items is provided and she is then blindfolded and asked to dress up in two minutes with no other help. Items like some over sized sun glasses, garden gloves, or a flannel night gown are placed for sheer fun photos that can be rare, can be taken for purposes of record.

In another game, involving the guests more than the bride, all their purses are kept in the centre of the room and a list made out, of the common items found in them. Give them a point of value. The less common items are also listed out and given a higher point of value. Thus lipstick has 2 points, a tampon 3and sun glasses 5 points. A granola bar has 10 points while a staple remover 15 points. Examine the purses awarding points and the purse that gets the maximum points bags the prize.

For the shower bingo game, put pictures of items you suppose the bride will receive at the shower, in the squares. The items can be lingerie, towels etc. As the bride opens gifts, mark off that item on the bingo card. If none gets a bingo, the person who marks off the most number of items gets the prize.

In another popular game, people observe the bride in about 30 minutes. She leaves the room. On papers supplied they should write everything they had seen on the brides dress, hair, the number of rings, the color of her blouse, her shoes whether they are open or close toes. Who ever has the maximum number of correct observation get the prize for his or her best observational skills.
