Your Memories With Dried Flower Wedding Bouquet
Besides the
beauty of the bride and her dress, flowers are the most memorable part
of a wedding. Your personal taste and tradition decides the color, style
and look of your flowers equal to what they mean for you. At times you
may love the flowers so much that you would like to keep them for ever.
It is possible for you to keep them for ever in the form of a dried flower
wedding bouquet.
Professional Or Personal, It Is An Aesthetic Technique
A dried flower wedding bouquet can be arranged in many ways. The most
popular will be an ordinary box frame that you can hang any where in your
home. At other times, people may use the individual flowers from the wedding
bouquet as book marks and framed prints for their special circle of family
and friends.
Either you can have a dried flower wedding bouquet by paying for it or
you can yourself create one. Only thing is to examine if you are confident
of creating the costly bouquet and whether you have the necessary skill
to make it. Silica gel, air drying and micro wave have to be employed
in making the dried flower wedding bouquet. Most professionals use freeze
drying method and you may have to spend about $ 100 -$200 for the process.
A few flowers are suitable for all kinds of presentation methods of dried
flower wedding bouquets. A few other flowers suit only one type of process.
Flowers that are best for freeze dried process are tube roses, Calla lilies,
gardenia, orchid, narcissus and bird of paradise. Lilacs and chrysanthemums
are not suitable for this process. You must be prepared for some of the
flowers not surviving for your dried flower wedding bouquet.
The Creative
Process
The flowers should look fresh and just hand picked from the garden in
a freeze drying process, Not all the above listed flowers have this quality.
So you can think of the air drying process where you hang the flowers
upside down in a fan shape in a dark. Non humid dry place after several
weeks the result will be an attractive dried flower wedding bouquet with
slightly less color than the original fresh flowers.
It is time consuming to treat each flower with silica gel to preserve
it. This process is done in a proper bag or box. After treatment they
are stored in the bag or box in a vacuum to create a dark dry environment.
After about four weeks with a gentle blowing and shaking, the silica gel
is removed. The flowers are thus preserved and ready for an aesthetic
and artistic framed arrangement or whatever plan you have in your mind.
